The Haryana government has decided to implement an unemployment allowance scheme on 1 November 2016, the 51st Haryana Day.
This scheme is the first of its kind scheme in the whole country. The decision of this scheme was taken by the Chief Minister Manoharlal Khattar in the state cabinet meeting.
Under this scheme this the state government has ensured that the postgraduate students who are unemployed will be eligible for this scheme.
The unemployed postgraduate students will be given 100 hours of employment in one month under this scheme.
The state government of Haryana will provide Rs 9000 per month unemployment for postgraduates who are registered with any employment exchange.
The state government has decided to implement this scheme on 1 November 2016.
According to the government there are 2000-3000 registered jobless postgraduates in the state.
The candidates whose family income is not more than 3 Lac per annum can take the benefit of this scheme.
The employment of 100 hours per month will also be given to those candidates whose property value does not exceed Rs 25 Lac and agriculture land is not more than two hectares.
The state government has promised to give Rs 9000 for the graduate students and Rs 6000 for the 12th passed students.
The main objective of this scheme is to provide the confidence to the unemployed students of the state.
This scheme will make the unemployed youths to overcome the frustration and disappointment.
This scheme will encourage the unemployed students to be financially self-reliant and will increase the employment.
To take the benefit of this scheme the eligible students will fill online registration form on the departmental web portal.
According to the stats around 27000 beneficiaries are currently taking the benefit of this type of schemes.
The 12th passed students are getting Rs 500, graduates taking Rs 1500 and the post graduates are taking Rs 3000.
By 1 November 2016 the post graduates who are unemployed will be given 100 hours employment per month.
