Devendra Fadnavis Chief Minister of Maharashtra has announced the Deendayal Upadhay Swayam Yojana to provide the food and hostel benefits for the tribal students. Chief Minister wants implement the studies of the tribal students and provide them many facilities under this scheme.
Devendra Fadnavis announced the Deendayal Upathay Swayam Yojana along with two other initiatives to increase the education level in the state. Through this scheme Chief Minister provide the financial help for the tribal students of Maharashtra. They give the benefits to those students who don’t afford our institutions fee.
Those students who want to continue their studies and they have a financial problems the Deendayal Upadhay Swayam Yojana provide the financial benefits to those students. The state government also launched a another scheme which name Punjabrao Deshmukh scheme this scheme also provide hostel fee for the children of marginal farmers and registered labourers.
The state government would provide the financial assistance for the tribal students tier 1 cities 6,000 per month, tier 2 cities 5,000 per month and for tier 3 cities 4,000 per month. Those medical students of Maharashtra whose family income is 2.5 to 6 lac per year and they have taken a loan for the education, then the interest of this loan paid by the government. According to Deendayal Upathay Swayam Yojana the government targeted to give benefits about 35,000 students from government institutions and 3 lac students of private institutions.
