Banshidhar Baudhya the social welfare minister of Uttar Pradesh distributed 4000 free bicycles to the beneficial labour workers under the Cycle Sahayata Scheme. On this occasion the social welfare minister ordered to the labour officers that this type of programs should be organized on various places in every district.
By such type of programs the people will come to know the schemes which are being run by the state government.
And by organizing these programs more and more people wiil inspire to be registered under these schemes.
The social welfare minister said that there are more numbers of the workers who are working in the unorganized sector,they are away from these schemes due to the lack of proper news about the schemes run by the state government.
The labour officers are ordered to make the proper advertisement of the schemes so that the lobour workers can take the benefit of these schemes.
The eligibility criteria, rules and the conditions of the schemes should be mentioned in a simple language so that the workers can understand it properly.
The women workers should be given priority to take the benefit of these schemes.
The district labour officer Anil Kumar Dixit cleared that the workers of age 18-60 and they are working 90 days out of the one year are beneficiary to take the benefit of this scheme.
The beneficiary workers have to submit age certificate, two photos the certificate of working 90 days in any unorganized sector and the payment of Rs 50.
To take the benefits of other schemes the registration should be continuous and renewable.
