Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has launched the Housing for All Scheme to provide the houses to poor people of the country. Government will provide the affordable houses to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Low Income Groups (LIG) of the country.
The people who don’t have their own and have a Kachha Makan will be benefited under the Housing for All Scheme. The government has targeted all the poor people of country have its own house by the year 2022.
The government has decided to construct the affordable houses in the three phases under the scheme. In the first phase they will construct the affordable houses in 100 cities and villages. In the second phase government select the 200 cities and villages of the country. In the third phase government construct the affordable houses in remaining cities and villages of the country.
The government will construct 13,000 1 and 2 BHK houses according to phase one in Bhopal under Housing for All Scheme. The Nagar Nigam has also select Rahul Nagar, Banganga and Udiya Basti for the construction of houses under Housing for All Scheme.
Three months before Nigam select the area for construction of houses under the scheme and send the proposal to the Central Government. Ministry of Central City Development has approved the proposal of these houses.
The government will construct 8,000 2 BHK houses and 5,000 one BHK houses under Housing for All Scheme. The government will construct all the houses in multi story.
