Raj Bala Verma Chief Secretary of Jharkhand issued a directive on 14 October to various departments of state government to connect the schemes of all development and welfare with (DBT) scheme by Aadhar seeding.
Raj Bala Verma said that they ensured NCPI mapping and connect the unprivileged people with the Jan Dhan Yojana through opening the new accounts of people. The bank officials helps to review the unmapped accounts and sorted the problems. The government officers should be sorted out the difference between mapping and seeding.
The beneficiaries of the Jan Dhan yojana should be paid through the (DBT) Direct Benefit of Transfer and in sahibganj and Pakur the special campaigns should be run. The Aadhar seeding of accounts 63,94,193 has been completed against accounts opened 83,07,622 in the Jharkhand stat
In the last one month of financial year 12 lac new accounts have been opened in the banks under Jan Dhan Yojana scheme. The Cards of Rupay 30,17,833 have been activated. The seeding of new acoounts mus be done fast, the new accounts of people should be opened under the National Social Assistance Program (NSAP) and within 10 days pensioners should be paid through Direct Benefit of Transfer (DBT).
Raj Bala Verma Told in the meeting that they collected Aadhar number of NCPI mapping 12,88,340 accounts and the 11,19,730 accounts has been completed. The accounts of MNREGA workers should be opened and the campaigns should be run at block levels.
