Jharkhand Budget 2017-18 presented by Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Monday for this financial year. The budget of financial year 2017-18 costs Rs.75670 crore. The special focus of this budget is on villages, poor people and over the industries of the state.
The chief minister Raghubar Das proposed new schemes in Jharkhand Budget 2017-18 and ensures to complete the earlier schemes of the state. This is first time that the budget of Jharkhand state presented at first in the country. The state government of Jharkhand presented separate budget for Schedule castes and for minorities.
Schemes Declared in Jharkhand Budget 2017-18
In Jharkhand Budget 2017-18 the state government of Jharkhand declared many new schemes for the welfare of the people of the state which are discussed below.
- Loan Guarantee Yojana for Students of Tribesman (Adivasi)
The state government of Jharkhand declared a new scheme for the tribesman of the state named Loan Guarantee Yojana. Under this scheme the state government of Jharkhand will provide the loan to the students of Tribesman (Adivasi). Raghubar Das promised to give the loan under this scheme. Rs. 10517.64 crore approved for education.
- Approval of Central Tribes (Janjati) University
The Jharkhand government has approved central tribe university for the people of the tribes. The university for the tribe people will b on the name of Binod Bihari Mahto University. So the state government approves new educational schmes for the people of the state. Rs. 18026 crore approved for ST area.
- To Open Nursing School
The Jharkhand government also approves to open new nursing schools in the state under Jharkhand Budget 2017-18. Trauma centers will be opened at NH-2, NH-33 and on NH-143 and there is the approval to open AIIMS in Devgarh
So the state government of Jharkhand approves new CM Fellowship Schemes in Jharkhand Budget 2017-18. Under this budget the government has a special focus on poor, village and industry of the state.
