The state government of Chhattisgarh launched a scheme Mukhya Mantri Swasthya Bima Yojana under which 30 thousand Rs were allotted per beneficiary.
Now the amount under this scheme has been extended from 30 thousand to 50 thousand. So the poor families will get total amount of Rs 50 thousand to the poor families of the state.
The chief minister Dr. Raman Singh inaugurated a private hospital in the capital of the state.
On this occasion the chief minister declared that the extended amount of the insurance under this scheme will be provided in the staring of new session 2017-18.
He said that the main objective of the state government is to provide the health facilities to the people of the state.
For this the state government is trying at its best to develop and expand the medical services in both private and public sectors.
So that patients and their family will get better option in every field.
He also said that the main objective of the state government is that we will provide best medical services to the citizens of the state by the participation in the government and private sectors.
For this the government is working at three levels.
The state government is providing all the required resources to every hospital of the district of the state.
The state government is going to open new medical college in the state.
In the last decade the government has established four new medical colleges in Bastar, Raogarh, Sarguja and in Rajnandgaon.
The government is working to provide skilled paramedical employee and educated nurses to the hospitals.
The Cabinet head Gaurishankar Agrwal and Health and Medical Education minister Ajay Chandrakar hosted the occasion.
