Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India has launched Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan yojana in year 2016-17. The PMRPY scheme is launched in Lok Sabha on 1 August 2016 and the Minister Bandaru Dattatreya announced the information related to this scheme and it will start soon in India.
This scheme is very useful for the unemployed peoples who don’t have any job. In the Pradhan Mantri Rojgar protsahan Yojana the workers who take Rs. 15,000 as wages p.m., now they will be taking employment facilities to develop their skills. On the behalf of employer the central government will pay 8.33% amount as pension in EPS.
The main objective of this scheme is to developed the employment skills of the people and encourage employment in the country. The government wants to remove the unemployment problems in the country through this scheme and provide employment opportunities to the people. The incentives will also provided by the central government for employers in the PMRPY.
The allocation of Rs. 1000 Crore has been already done by the government in the Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan Yojana. Government considered maximum 3 lac establishment in the country which recruit maximum 20 employees . If the central government not pay the money, then the employers have right to reimburse the money.
Eligibility criteria for Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan Yojana
The establishment registered with EPFO must have a (LIN)Labour Identification Number which is allotted by the Shram Suvidha Portal. The new establishment in to existence registered with Employees Provident Fund Organization after 1st April 2016, the reference base of employee will be taken as Zero. The employees who earning the wages less than of Rs. 15,000 p.m. benefits are given to those people.
The employer take 3.67% by the central government in case of Textile sector. If the any employer don’t have a New Adhar Seeded Universal Account Number, then those employer get the facilities through the Employees Provident Fund Portal. The employer must submitted their application form by the 10th of following month.
