Ministry of Culture organized a Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav in Delhi for showing art and culture of the country such as paintings, handicrafts, photography, sculptures, cuisine, performing arts and documentation. The festival has started from 15th to 24th of October at Indira Gandhi National Center for Arts (IGNCA), 11, Mansingh road, Delhi.
Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav festival is inaugurated by Rajnath Singh Union Home Minister. The craftsmen from over all country will come and show their talent in the festival.
Around 400 artistes are come in the festival to display the different dance forms along with folk and tribal. The performance of Folk arts such as Kacchi Ghori, Behroopiyas, Bazigars etc will come in the festival to show are talents.
The regional food delicacies will also showcased from all states of India like hyderabad Biryani, Jhunka Bhakar ( Maharashtra), Litti chokha (Bihar), Makki Roti (Punjab), Amritsari Kulcha, Kashmiri Wazwan etc.
The main objective of this festival is to introduce the country youth and connect them with our rich and vibrant culture.
Around 1,200 artits from all over the country will be coming together and show their talents for the audiences which are present in the festival.
Timing of Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav festival from 10am to 10pm and the public will enter in the festival from get number 1 at Janpath Road.
