The central government of India has started many beneficial schemes for the farmers of every state of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Saur Sujala Yojana in Chattisgarh on Tuesday for the benefit of the farmers.
Under this scheme the government will provide solar powered irrigation pumps to the farmers of the state. Chattisgarh is the first state of launching this scheme and this will be implemented soon in the state.
The solar powered irrigation pumps will be provided at subsidized price to the farmers.
Prime Minister launched this scheme at Chattisgarh foundation day function in Naya Raipur on Tuesday. On this occasion the prime minister said that the central government is taking all the necessary measures which will promote the farmers, villagers and poor people.
Under Saur Sujala scheme the central government will provide the solar powered irrigation pumps 3HP and 5HP capacity. The central government will give Rs 3.5 Lac and Rs 4.5 Lac to the farmers as subsidy after the distribution of the solar powered irrigation pumps.
The government has decides to distribute these solar powered irrigation pumps at the subsidized price. The farmers who are eligible for this scheme will get the solar powered irrigation pumps by March 2019 in the whole state.
Additional Chief Secretary of chattishgarh N Baijendra Kumar informed that 51000 farmers will get the benefit of this scheme. He also announced that the distribution of solar powered irrigation pumps will be completed in the next two years.
This scheme will be given to those areas where electricity connection has not reached yet. The central government has many schemes for the benefit of the poor people in every state and this scheme is especially for the farmers of the state.
On this occasion PM Modi said that the government is designing and implementing these schemes for the welfare of the poor people and the farmers of the country.
