The Central Government of India is going to start a new LPG connection scheme named Ujjwala Plus Yojana for the families who are living Below Poverty Line (BPL).
The petroleum minister of India has given name “Ujjwala Plus” to this scheme. This scheme will be declared soon by the central government.
Under this scheme the families who didn’t get the LPG connections due to their name missing from the Social and Economic Census List 2011 will get the LPG connections.
Ministry said that after the start of Ujjwala Yojana the public have shown their interest in this scheme.
So Ujjwala Plus scheme will be started with the coordination of the people. The government will reach the benefit of this scheme to the beneficiaries like” Give It Up”.
Ministry said that anyone can give his coordination in Ujjwala Plus Yojana . the options of taking the coordination from the people will be declared soon.
The government is making the terms and conditions to the banks through which the subsidy will be given to the people.
The central government will declare the scheme after preparing the terms and the conditions of this scheme.
Many poor families are not getting the free gas connections due to the missing of their name of family members in the Social and Economic Census 2011.
The central government will provide free LPG connections to the poor people of the country under this scheme. The central government has made a mission of providing 5 crore LPG free connections through the country in 3 years.
The government has provided around 80 Lac free LPG connections to the women of the nation.
The government has set up a mission of providing 1.5 crore LPG free connections to the poor families in this year.
Under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana the government will provide free LPG connections to the poor families who are in the list Social and Economic Census.
But in Ujjwala Plus scheme the families who are not listed in the Social and Economic Census 2011 will be provided free LPG gas connections.
