The central government launched the official website of Goods & Services Tax (GST) www.gst.gov.in. The website is launched to for online enrollment for the smooth transactions in GST. The website for GST is launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 8 November the same day he announced the demonetization of Rs. 500 and 1000 notes.
The official website of Goods & Services Tax is released to make the online enrollment of for smooth transactions in Goods & Service Tax. Through this website the individuals can make their new user log in and existing user log in. After the enrollment the provisional ID will come from the tax officer.
To make the log in the Goods & Services Tax the individual has to update the profile information and upload documents. Goods & Services Tax will work as a single window for the people who are paying regular tax. GSTN (Goods & Services Tax Network) does not collect the personal information about any person who visit official website of GST.
If any individual uploads his/her personal information on the official website of GST then the government will use it only to take the necessary action on the request of the individual. Under this the government does not provide the personal information of any individual to any third party. Any information which is provided to this website will be protected from any misuse or disclosure.
The central government has started Goods & Services Tax to bring the equality in the tax rates of the country. Goods & Services Tax will make a uniform tax structure pan India before April 2017 when Goods & Services Tax will be implemented formally.
