Akhilesh Yadav the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh announced a free smart phoe scheme for the voters of the state. The scheme named Samajwadi Smartphone Yojana. The official website of Samajwadi Smartphone Yojana is www.samajwadisp.in.
Under this scheme a candidate can make registration of 5 people from a single mobile number to get smart phone. The candidates who are 10th passed or having any equivalent degree can apply for this scheme if he/she is the permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh. To take the benefit of this scheme the age of the candidate should be 18 years or more till January 2017.
This scheme is launched to provide the digital knowledge to the people of the state Uttar Pradesh. The chief minister Akhilesh Yadav started this scheme to provide the free smart phones to the people of the state if the Samajwadi government comes to the power in the state.
The income of the candidate should not be more than 6 Lac per annum to take the benefit of this scheme. The candidate should not be of any first grade or any administrative officer. So the candidates can register themselves till 31 December 2016 under Samajwadi Smartphone Yojana.
The last date to register under this scheme was 25 November 2016 but now the last date has been extended to 31 December. The last date for the registration under this scheme is extended due to the demonetization in the country. Akhilesh Yadav the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh said that the people who have not made their registration under this scheme due to the demonetization can make it up to 31 December 2016.
He appealed to the people to make the registration of more and more people of the state.
